Presentation ‘Agile Systeemontwikkeling Met Scrum’ (Dutch)
Posted on | March 7, 2010 | 2 Comments
Last Thursday I gave a presentation about 'Agile system development with Scrum' to an audience of project managers, business consultants and more technically involved IT people.
My main purpose was to provoke a 'paradigm change' since most people in the audience aren't involved in agile system development currently. So a large part of my presentation was about predictability and dealing with changes and why Scrum is a better approach to this then the traditional waterfall method. I remember clearly the first time I heard about Scrum a couple of years ago. My first reaction was that it couldn't work and only after a couple weeks I began to understand the strengths of the agile way of thinking.
We had some great discussions Thursday and I think I've been able to 'turn' some people. Mission accomplished
